Online or digital marketing is a tool to promote the sale of services or products via the Internet. It is more than beneficial for companies because it brings results and is not limited by geography or time.
Talking about the future is both risky and speculative. That’s why I think if you want to succeed, you have to look in the past and understand the present.
The whole internet marketing started with the brave people who saw the opportunity to network and started creating web pages, and later they optimized these pages so that their business would appear on the first pages of search results (eg Google). One of these visionary people is Jeff Bezos – founder of Amazon.com – who is an Internet enthusiast, being the richest man in the world, with a net worth of over $ 158 billion.
In the meantime, since the 2000s, the first social media platforms have appeared in the virtual space, later opening the gates for businesses to increase their recognition and sales. This phenomenon was most amplified with the introduction of – Facebook – a platform that offers the freedom to target customers in a smart way – generating more expansion.
In short, from Facebook we all know the story of Instagram LinkdIn and Twitter – which together form the social media framework.
Right now, the power of digital marketing is incredible, generating trillions of dollars. A lot of companies use this tool and people have come to the conclusion that the presence on the Internet is not only a way to grow but also a necessity of the 21st century.
As I said at the beginning of the article, the future is difficult to predict exactly. However, one thing is certain – online marketing will only grow and will have an increasing impact on the business environment. Even though it is already essential, I believe that until now we have only touched the surface – its relevance and usefulness.
